The collection ‘Embrace Turning Tides’, is an ode to embracing change and adapting to what life throws at you. If you are looking to infuse your home with calm and joyful energy alike, these paintings will speak to your soul.
Beautiful pieces of art that elevate your home, the work is also a reflection of my own journey of transformation and growth. Not only was I adjusting to being a new mother, I was adapting to a new life by the sea after moving away from busy London. 
This is also my first series since I decided not to return to work as an interior designer, and to be a full-time artist living and breathing what gives me so much joy. 
All these changes made their way into the process of painting this series. What set out to be calm and muted paintings turned out as bright, joyful and energetic pieces. 
The paintings developed a life of their own, growing out of what I was used to, and I embraced their new direction.
Each painting draws you in with its energy, but also gives you an opportunity to rest and feel calm with spacious areas. I let a lot of the raw marks be, not resolving everything perfectly to create a balance of harmony and dissonance. After building layer upon layer each piece encapsulates a story of what was then and what is now.
